Adobe AIR Install/Unistall Error Message - Administrator privilages

Hi all,
 
I am currently having problems installing the latest HTC Sync software.
I have come down to this being a Windows / Adobe AIR conflict.
When I open the HTC Sync application I get this error message "This application requires a version of Adobe AIR which can
not be found", so I went to Adobe.com and downloaded the latest version of Adobe AIR...

When I try to install this I get this error message "An Error occured during installation.  An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR, Installation may not be allowed by your administrator.
Please contact your administrator." I get this same message when
I try to unistall the current version also.
I am the only user on this computer (Windows 7 Home Premium (64Bit)) and I am listed as an administrator.
If you can help I would be VERY greatful! Thank you.

Hi,

The Logitech Video driver (LVPrcSrv.exe) is known to cause issues with the installation of the runtime.
If the application is loaded, end the process by selecting it from the Windows Task Manager

Check with adobe if they have Adobe AIR uninstaller to uninstall.

Or, try this step: (To install Adobe AIR)

a) Make a shortcut of the Adobe AIR installer executable.
b) Right-click the executable, go to properties, click on the "shortcut" tab.
c) In the "Target" field, add "-uninstall" (minus quotes) to the end of the existing text.
d) Run the file, and Adobe AIR will truly be uninstalled this time.
e) Now run the original installer file to install the program.

Running System Update Readiness Command

On running the System Update readiness Command, it will Detect & Replace Incorrect Registry data with the Correct one. Which may ultimately Solve Adobe AIR Install/Unistall Error Message - Administrator privilages in Windows.

1. Open CMD as Administrator by Simply Right Clicking on Start button > Command Prompt (Admin).
2. Now Type or Copy paste "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth" and hit Enter,
3. Now again Type or Copy paste this "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and hit Enter.
4. Close the Command Prompt Window because we are done.
