Cannot acces the favorites from Explorer

I have Explorer 8 and Windows 7.
I erase the Favorites folder from my account.
Then I made a new folder with the same name and I put inside some html files, but now I cannot add more favorites when I am in Explorer.
I also cannot see any favorite, or organice
them in Explorer.
Any hints?

·         Did you check the default location for the favorites being saved on your computer after you created the folder?
·         What exactly happens when you try to add a new favorites, do you get any error?
I suggest that you set the default location for the favorites folder and check if it will fix the issue: Click the Start Orb
1.    Click the

Computer
3.    In the Address bar, paste this address

4.    Press Enter on the keyboard or hit “Go” on the address bar
5.    Right click
Favorites
6.    Click
Properties
7.    Click the Location tab
