How to Fix Problem - Default Gateway Windows 7 64 Bit?

Default Gateway Windows 7 64 Bit

I have been following this thread and using the suggested fixes (ie; bonjour) without success, having the same problem whereby I lose my connection due to a default gateway problem.

I do not have bonjour and I lose my connection about once per hour.
I purchased this machine native with Windows 7, so no upgrade paths or issues exist.
Use it as it came out of the box.
